CFA has recently helped global building product manufacturer Sika to promote a highly complex project – a major strengthening programme on the London Underground which has seen strengthening to over 90 cast iron beams marking the UK’s largest ever application of ultra high modulus composite reinforcement.

Following the commissioning of photography – undertaken during Engineering Hours (overnight when there is no train service) so as to cause no disruption to the District and Circleline services – CFA’s copywriting team drafted a technical press release, detailing the complexities of the project. Following approvals by main contractor Clancy Docwra, specialist contractor Concrete Repairs Limited and client Transport for London the release was distributed to the leading trade press. Coverage included New Civil Engineer magazine (NCE) and Rail magazine.
