Colin Awarded Associate of the Year by the CCS
CFA Chief Executive Colin Felton was recently awarded Associate of the Year by the Confederation of Construction Specialists (CCS). Colin was presented with the prestigious award at the Confederation’s AGM on June 17th, 2011 at the RAF Club in Piccadilly.
Each year, the Associate of the Year is selected by CCS board members to recognise and reward a member’s exceptional and outstanding contribution to the Confederation’s success..
The CCS was set up by John Huxtable in 1983 to act as a campaigning body to improve the business environment in which specialist companies operate. Now with a turnover of £3.5 billion, CCS provides training and support for specialists throughout the construction industry.
"It was a great honour to receive this award particularly as it was voted for by fellow construction professionals,” commented Colin. “Some of the biggest companies in the country have received the award in the past and to be seen alongside them is a tribute to CFA and the rest of our team who made it possible."
