CFA and insulation manufacturer Celotex saw recent changes to Building Regulations as a prime opportunity to maximise press coverage and further strengthen the company’s reputation within the construction industry.
On 1st October 2010, Part L of the Building Regulations – important legislation that governs how new buildings are constructed - was revised from its previous 2006 version. The changes demanded the reduction of CO2 emissions in new homes by 25% – with massive implications for Celotex and the construction industry.
Working with the trade press, CFA produced a series of technical features for the specification, contractor and distribution media. This provided Celotex with the ideal opportunity to raise awareness of the implications of Part L, whilst reinforcing the company’s position as leading insulation specialists.
The campaign illustrates CFA’s approach to PR. With initiative and foresight to respond to industry changes and provide our clients with a platform to establish themselves as experts on a particular subject, the Part L PR campaign for Celotex has generated significant coverage in key publications and in turn awareness and enquiries.
